MT Elite Ducks

Where Development and Enjoyment Come First

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We are a family atmosphere youth basketball program. Our focus is not only on making the people in our program better individual and team basketball players, but also making them better people. We believe strongly in the value of education and are continuously emphasizing to our players that they are STUDENT athletes and the student always comes first.

We emphasize our “Don’t Be Afraid To Be Good” approach to our players. We use this approach to encourage our players to try new things and constantly set new limits for themselves to allow them to continuously grow. We believe a major key to success is developing confidence within our young athletes and encourage our players NOT to be afraid to make a ‘mistake’, but rather to not only try something new, but to try it with complete confidence. We embrace the development process of each individual player and do not believe anything is a mistake. On the contrary, we believe everything is either a success or a learning experience we can use to expand the player’s skill set and knowledge of the game.

TESTIMONIALS

WHY DUCKS

"My son has been playing for Coach Brett for three years and we couldn’t have better things to say about the MT Elite Ducks. I’m impressed every season with the development and growth of the players. Brett teaches them how to play the game they love but more importantly, he teaches them how to be a team, which goes beyond talent. My son has made some of the best friends he has through basketball and the Ducks and that’s something that will stick with him beyond the wins and losses."
- Marilyn Nicholson

"Playing for the Ducks was the best decision I have ever made. During my time as a Duck, not only did I grow immensely as a player, but also as a person. The entire coaching staff was so supportive and helpful, especially when it came to the recruiting process. There’s no other program I would have rather spent my entire basketball career at."
- Julia Elie
